Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. til 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service Wednesday at the funeral home. Ms. Austin was born July 24, 1934 in Trigg County, Kentucky daughter of the late Columbus C. Wortham and Edna Cobb Wortham. In addition to her parents Ms. Austin was preceded in death by her husband James Edward "Webb" Austin.
Ms. Austin was employed by Boot-ster Manufacturing Company and most recently by Jostens Yearbook Company. She was a member of St. Bethlehem United Methodist Church and First Baptist Church.
Ms. Austin is survived by her son James Steven (Susan) Austin, daughters; Wynona Kay (Tommy) Fyke all of Clarksville and daughter; Kimberly (Arlo) Austin-Hurst of Olatha, Kansas, grandchildren; Garrett Hurst, Guy Hurst, James Fyke, Katherine Fyke, Brittnye Reigle and Lauren Austin. Pallbearers will be Ronnie White, Donnie White, Mike Camp, Marty Austin, Gary Austin and Jarrell Ray Austin.
Donations may be made in Ms. Austin's memory to the American Diabetes Foundation or the American Cancer Society for Liver Cancer Research.
