PEORIA -- Eileen Adair , 77, of Peoria died at 8:01 a.m. Saturday, April 20, 1996, at her residence.

Born July 6, 1918, in Enon, Mo., to Bert L. and Bessie L. Morris McBroom, she married HarlandP . Adair on July 6, 1940, in Hanna City. He died Sept. 6, 1974. Three brothers also preceded her in death.

Surviving are one son, Harland "Pat" of Peoria; one daughter, Deborah Adair -Mahon of Peoria; one brother, Herschel McBroom of Hanna City; one sister, Mrs. Donald (Wanda M.) Terry of Peoria; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was an agent with her husband at Adair Realty. She also was a self-employed seamstress for more than 50 years.

She was a past member of Ken Club at YWCA. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Peoria, where she served as past deaconess.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel. The Rev. Linda McKinney will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 tonight at the chapel. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Methodist Medical Center Hospice Program or to the American Cancer Society.
