Obituary: "Funeral services for Mrs. Anna O'Keefe who passed away at her home on Sunday evening, Feb. 17 following a several week illness were held on Tuesday morning, February 19 at the Immaculate Conception church at 9 o'clock with the Rev. Henry LeMay officiating.

Burial was made in Calvary cemetery. Pallbearers were Chauncey Dandelet, William Hopke, Frank O'Brien Jr., Frank Quinn, Ruge Fleckenstein and Joseph Fait. She is survived by two daughters, Miss Rose O'Keefe of this city and Mrs. Catherine Smith of Minneapolis.

Out of town relatives and friends attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. A. Slattery, Mrs. John Dalton, Miss Gladys Menchick, Mr. and Mrs. James F. Kane, Mr. and Mrs. Carroll and Mrs. Condon of St. Paul and Mrs. McCarthy and son, James of Waseca." ("Fairbault Journal" Feb 3, 1946)"
