David B. Irvine, 71, a resident of Port Arthur 22 years, died at the residence, 634 Fourth street, at 2:45 o'clock Tuesday morning after an illness of four months. Surviving are a widow, Mrs. Fannie Irvine; a daughter, Mrs. James Eason, and son, G.P. Irvine, all of Port Arthur; two brothers, J.M. and M.V. Irvine, Kirbyville, Texas; three sisters, Mrs. D.J. Lee, Driscoll, Texas, and Mrs. Mary Bevil and Miss Susie Irvine, both of Kirbyville. Funeral services will be held from the J.E. Grammier chapel at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning with Rev. Glenn Flinn, pastor f the First Methodist church, south, officiating, and burial made in Magnolia cemetery.
