Theresa Ferder, 93, died Nov. 4, 2007, in Largo, Florida. She was born in Windber, Pa., October 11, 1914. Previously, she lived in Cuyahoga Falls, Silver Lake and Kent, Ohio. Theresa was the last surviving family member of her large family. She had been a member of St. Patrick's Church in Kent, Holy Family Parish in Stow, and St. Joseph's Church in Cuyahoga Falls. Also she was a member of The Catholic Daughters of America. She was an active volunteer in her church and community. Theresa was preceded in death by her parents Mary Linzenbold and Charles Mayer, her brothers William and Charles, and sisters Betty, Helen and Irene, her daughter Patricia and former husband Joe Ferder. She is survived by daughters Carole Hayden Rice (Larry) of Cuyahoga Falls, Joyce Rigel (Doug) of Mansfield, and Margie Wilson of Largo, Florida, six grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Funeral services in Florida were Nov. 17, 2007. A Memorial Mass at St. Patrick's Church in Kent will be 1 pm. Saturday Dec. 8, 2007.
