Mary Theresa Bohan Butz, 96, of San Antonio, TX, formerly of Lafayette, died at 8:30 PM Tuesday [Feb. 14,1989] in Northeast Baptist Hospital, San Antonio. Born Dec. 3, 1892, in Lafayette, she was married to Carl G. Butz on May 12, 1920, in Lafayette; he died in July 1970.

Mrs. Butz had been a resident of San Antonio five years, moving there from Galveston, TX. She was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ in Lafayette.

Surviving are one son, Robert Butz of New Braunfels, TX; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The body will be returned to Lafayette for services and burial.
