Lucille worked for Hallmark Cards in Kansas City for 38 years before retiring in 1980. She is survived by one sister, Virginia.

Lucille was 87 when she passed away.

Contributions may be made to the Parkinson Foundation.

Lucille was my moms first boss at Hallmark, and each time my mom left to have a child, Lucille would call her and ask her to come back. I greatly respected Lucille. She was a wonderful lady. My mom took my oldest son over there once for Lucille to see. Unfortunately my son was teething and my mom held a rag under his mouth the entire time because she didn't want him dribbling on Lucille's belongings. It's hard to describe Lucille. She was very neat, very ladylike, very orderly, very proper. She went to bed at a precise time and got up at a precise time. Her house was always very neat and tidy. A place for everything and everything in its place.

Lucille married Max Lee Hanson (both previously divorced) on January 20, 1954, they later divorced.

I'm trying to decide on a maiden name for her. Social Security has this:
Oct 1942: Name listed as LUCILLE FRANCES MARSDEN;
Sep 1944: Name listed as LUCILLE FRANCES DICKENSON;
Feb 1954: Name listed as LUCILLE FRA HANSON;
30 Aug 2003: Name listed as LUCILLE F HANSON
