Priscilla C. Burch, (Pat), a retired clerical worker, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Aug 25, 2013. She was born Dec 31, 1929, at Potlatch, the daughter of George Russel Reynolds and Florence Bruun Reynolds Snyder. She was preceded in death by her parents and an older brother, George LaVern Reynolds, who died by drowning in the Palouse River at the age of 10.

Priscilla attended Potlatch Elementary School and graduated from Potlatch High School in 1947. Through a work program with Sears, she attended several adult classes at Humboldt State College, McKinleyville, CA, and earned certificates in business management and bookkeeping.

She was married to R Wayne Thomas on Jun 21, 1947, living in Potlatch. They had a son and a daughter and worked in a Richfield Service Station. They divorced in 1954. In 1955, she married Clint F Reese at Lewiston. They had one daughter. They resided in Lewiston until 1964, when they moved to Samoa, CA, living there until moving to Kamiah in 1974. They divorced in 1975. She moved to Pierce in Nov 1976 when she married Eugene F Burch. Burch died in an automobile accident in Dec 1989. Priscilla was disabled due to the accident, and lived in Lewiston until moving to Craigmont in 1994, residing there until moving to Princeton in 2008. In 2011, she moved to Nampa and was residing at Grangeville at the time of her passing.

While living in Potlatch, she worked for Potlatch Corp. as a warehouse clerk. She was employed by the US Postal Service at Lewiston, running the substation in the Lewiston Orchards located on Thain Road. She was employed by Sears for many years, working in Lewiston and Eureka, CA, in the credit department as a loan supervisor. She was active for the Democratic Party in California and served as a chairwoman for the Pierce precinct for a number of years. She worked with Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Camp Fire Girls, Cub Scouts and the parent-teacher association while raising her children. She was also very active in numerous
charitable organizations.

Eugene and Priscilla were charter members of the Majestic Mountain Baptist Church at Pierce. After the accident, Priscilla transferred her membership to Highland Baptist Church at Craigmont. She was an active part of the building and instituting of the Pine Ridge Baptist Church at Kamiah and the Mountain Majestic Church at Pierce. Priscilla enjoyed being very active in church work and was a member of a puppet team giving performances for children, nursing homes, churches, special people, vacation Bible schools and local elementary schools in the area. Priscilla loved working with children and youth. Her home was always open to a child in need. She was also an avid hunter and enjoyed reading, embroidery, painting, crafts and crocheting.

Survivors include her son, Wendell L Thomas and wife Jeannine of Grangeville; a daughter, Echo Rodriguez and husband Jerry of Nampa; a daughter, Lori Reese Roberts; two heart-adopted sons, Glenn R Lewis and wife Marcia of Flowery Branch, GA, and Steven Reese of Lewiston; five grandchildren; four heart-adopted grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren; plus numerous others who claim her as a grandmother.

There will be a graveside service at 1 p.m. Sept. 7 at Woodland Cemetery in St. Maries, Idaho. Family and friends are invited.
