A native of Cherokee County, SC; daughter of the late Will and Nancy Pearson; widow of Victor Lee Allison (1899–1965).

Survivors include a brother, Ira Rufus Pearson (1904-1989); and several nieces and nephews.

Also predeceased by a daughter, Mary Louise Allison (1920–1943); brother, Robert Lee Pearson (1894-1970).
