Blanche Elizabeth Howe Paulson was born on November 23, 1921 to Milton Howe and Maude Dvorak at home in Biscay, Minnesota. She graduated from Steward Public School in 1939, and married LeRoy Paulson on May 29, 1942 in Mora, Minnesota. They moved to Zimmerman in 1956. They owned and operated the Paulson Tree Farm in Zimmerman until 1997. Blanche loved crossword puzzles, playing cards, shopping from magazines, dining in restaurants, traveling, making donations to hundreds of organizations, she loved her family and friends and gave gifts to all. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Zimmerman, and the American Legion Auxiliary Post 560. She will be deeply missed by her family.

She is survived by her sons Lynn Paulson and wife, Vicky, of Zimmerman and James Paulson and wife,Tami, also of Zimmerman, and 6 grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.

Blanche is preceded in death by her brother, Earle Howe, her father. Milton Howe, her mother, Maude Howe, her husband, LeRoy Paulson and daughter, Susan Martin.

Blanche Elizabeth Howe Paulson, age 81, of Zimmerman, Minnesota died Sunday, February 23 at the Elim Nursing Home in Princeton, Minnesota. The family wishes to give a heartfelt thanks to the nursing staff at the Elim Home and Steve Scott (Doc) for their wonderful care.
