Irene Blanche Robinson

Irene Blanche Robinson, 85, of Grants Pass died Thursday, Nov. 27, 2003 at her home.

A funeral service is set for Sunday at 2 p.m. at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors with Don Michael and Don Rule, ministers, officiating. Private interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Contributions may be made to Lovejoy Hospice, 939 S.E. Eighth St., Grants Pass, OR 97526; or Moose Charities (Mooseheart), c/o Grants Pass-Merlin Moose Lodge, 330 Merlin Ave., Merlin, OR 97532.

She was born on Feb. 10, 1918, in Hackensack, Minn. In 1963, she moved from Cottage Grove to Grants Pass.

She was a member of the Savage Street Church of Christ and Women of the Moose Grants Pass Lodge Chapter 2075. Her hobbies included oil painting, woodworking, karaoke singing, sewing, gardening and animals.

She is survived by a daughter, Darlene Poague of Grants Pass; four grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren.

A son, Samuel Michael, died in 1968.
