Adeline L. Zimmerman. Mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Adele Zimmerman left our physical world on March 4, 2012, at the wonderful age of 90. Graveside services will take place at Beth Israel Memorial Gardens, 1101 Antoine Drive, Houston, TX on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Adele was a 2-1/2 year resident of The Atriums in Overland Park, KS, having moved there from Houston, TX. She was born in the Bronx, NY, one of eight children born to Asher and Martha Freiman who passed through Ellis Island. In 1945 Adele boldly traveled to St. Louis, MO, to visit family members and there met her husband Daniel whom she married the same year. They resided in St. Louis until 2002 when they moved to Houston, TX. Their love affair lasted 61 years until his death in 2007. Family was paramount to Adele, and she leaves behind to mourn her passing daughter Rhonda Bass (Ariel) of Bellaire, TX and sons Gary Zimmerman (Darlene) and Shelden Zimmerman (Johnette) both of Overland Park, KS. Her true legacy as a phenomenal grandmother will be joyfully remembered by Tracie (Jason King) Sands, Scott (Marisa) Zimmerman, Seth Zimmerman, Andrew Zimmerman, Oren Bass, Rikki Bass (fiancé Adam Sevell), Jonathan Bass and Benjamin Bass and great-grandchildren Jared Sands, Emery King, Megan King and Evan King.
