Brian Scott Brenneman, 48, of New Castle, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, March 3, 2012. He was born Sept. 22, 1963, in New Castle.
A 1982 graduate of Shennendoah High School, Brian loved NASCAR, and was an avid sports fan, especially I.U. basketball.
He is survived by his mother, Bonnie (Michael K.) Jordan of New Castle; sisters, Kristi Jordan of Knightstown, Misty Brenneman (Mike) Johnson; step mother, Jannie (Lee) Stone of Spiceland; three step-brothers, Frank Scott (Angela) Jordan of Hagerstown; Craig (Shelly) Jordan of Punta Gorda, FL, Kurt Jordan of Charlotte, NC; two aunts and an uncle; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Brenneman; maternal grandparents, Bob and Ladyne Edington; paternal grandparents, Orville and Marie Brenneman; an uncle, Dan Edington.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Burial will follow in Mooreland Cemetery. Friends may call from 12-2 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the local DARE program with envelopes available at the funeral home.
