LEDGEWOOD - Charles G. Cooke, 46, of Orben Dr., Lake Rogerene, died yesterday in Beth Israel Hospital, Newark, after a heart attack.

he was the son of Mrs. Daniel F. Bowman of Belford.

Mr. Cook was a salesman with the Morristown office of the Griffith Piao Co. He was a veteran of World war II; a member of the American Federation of Musicians, Local 237, Dover; a member of the Lake Rogerene Civic Association; past master councilor of the Benjamin Franklin Chapter, Order of DeMolay, Irvington, and had been an organist at supper clubs in the Morris County area.

Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Mrs. Ruth Cooke; a son, Karl Cooke, and a daughter, Frances Cooke, both at home; and a brother, Donald L. Cooke of Monterey, Mexico.

There will be a mediation service tomorrow at 8 p.m. and a funeral service Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Davis Funeral Home, Succasunna, with the Rev. Millard E. Wetzel of the Ledgewood Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Hillside.
