Pat was born Aug. 31, 1932 at Sallisaw, Oklahoma, daughter of the late Hubert and Pearl Cargill. Pat died Feb 29, 2012 at the age of 79 years.
Her family moved to Drumright in 1934 to make their home.
Pat graduated from Drumright High School in 1950. On May 16, 1951, Pat and Marion Otis McLaughlin were united in marriage. They both had been longtime members of the First Assembly of God Church and Pat had been an active member of the Cushing Hospital Ladies Auxiliary.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Tery McLaughlin.
She is survived by her loving husband of the home; one son and wife; her daughter-in-law; one sister; one brother; eleven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held March 6, 2012 at the First Assembly of God Church in Cushing, for longtime resident Mamie L. "Pat" McLaughlin. Interment followed at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Drumright.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Don Smith Funeral Home.
