Willia Coleman, a public school teacher in Oakland for 25 years, died Saturday at her daughter's home in Concord . She was 74.
The Dallas native lived in Marshall, Texas, before moving to the Bay Area 27 years ago. She was a member of True Life Baptist Church in Oakland.
She is survived by her daughter, Precious Warren-Kigenyi of Concord ; sister, Jerry Hill of St. Louis; and four grandchildren. Her husband, George T. Coleman, died in 1963.
