FURNESSVILLE, Ind. - Reginald Anderson, 74, of Furnessville, died at 8:10 p.m. Saturday (Aug. 9, 1997) at home.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Chesterton, with the Rev. C. Christoph Arminger officiating. Burial will follow in the Chesterton Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at the White-Love Funeral Home, Chesterton.
Mr. Anderson was born March 15, 1923, in Burdick, Ind., the son of Ernest and Martha Olson Anderson.
On Dec. 6, 1947, in Chesterton, he married Fern Nicholson, who survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Gail (Anthony) Renaldo, Pine Township, Susan (Delbert) Hall, Jackson Township, and Patricia (Albert) Jackson, Jackson Township; one brother, Malcolm Anderson, Chesterton; one sister, Elaine Smith, Bellingham, Wash.; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Eleanore Minugh and Anna Erickson.
Mr. Anderson was employed as a carpenter and was associated with the Duneland Workshop Builders. He was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, a Sunday school teacher, a Pine Township Fire Department volunteer and a member of the Porter County Library Board.
Memorials may be made to the Building Fund of Bethlehem Lutheran Church or to the American Parkinson Disease Association Inc., 1250 Hylan Blvd., Ste. 4-B, Staten Island, N.Y. 10305-1946.
