Minnie Galloway, age 86, our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, died October 17, 2003 in Salt Lake City.

She was born to Alpheus and Hattie Van Dyke Jackson Nov 27, 1916 in Lyman UT. She married Edward Galloway Aug 7, 1934 in Torrey, UT. She is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and also belonged to the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, which she enjoyed. She was a good homemaker and devoted wife. She also enjoyed quilting, handicrafts, gardening, and reading.

Survived by husband of 69 years; daughter, Dawna Ruesch; daughter-in-law, Mauri Galloway; grandchildren, Vicki, Chad, Terri, Mark Ruesch, Julie, Layne, Rob, Dave, Ryan Galloway; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandson. Preceded in death by parents; brothers and sisters Alpheus Jackson, Vernal Jackson, Cleo Peterson, Pearl DeLeeuw, Violet Merkley, Blanch Taylor, Berneice Broadhead; daughter, Lenna, son, Ronald; and great-granddaughter, Lydia Farooq.

Funeral will be 1 p.m. Tues. Oct 21, Evans & Early Mortuary, 574 E. 100 S. Viewing 12-12:45 p.m. Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Directors Evans & Early Mortuary, a Dignity Memorial Provider.
