Joyce Roach Allbritten, age 88 of Paducah, passed away at 2:20 a.m. Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at Lourdes Hospital.
Joyce was a homemaker, and a member of the First Christian Church where she had been active in the Christian Women's Fellowship.
She is survived by 1 sister, Jean Hunt, of Sebring, Florida, 2 nieces, Tandy Jones, of Haubstadt, Indiana, and Alicia Pedroza, of Ashville, N.C. Also surviving is her sister-in-law, Willadene Myers, of Paducah, and several great nieces and nephews.
Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph C. Allbritten, 1 brother, Joseph Roach, and 2 nephews, Bill Hunt and John Jones. Her parents were William and Thelma Roach.
A celebration of Joyce's life will take place at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2012, at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. Jae Gottman officiating. Burial will take place in the Woodland Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until the funeral time on Friday at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
