MILLEDGEVILLE - Graveside services for Bobby Lee Parker, age 63, will be Friday, 3 p.m. with Rev. Ed Smith officiating. Interment in Heritage Memorial Park. Parker died Tuesday evening at his residence after an extended illness. A native of Fort Valley, lived in Baldwin County for the past twenty-seven years, retired from The Georgia Theater Company as a projectionist and had worked with Middle Georgia Mapping, the son of the late Alton David Parker, an honorary member of the Georgia Sheriffs Boys Ranch. A member of the Assembly of God in Fort Valley, he attended the Scottsboro Baptist Church in Milledgeville. Survivors include his wife of Milledgeville, son of Milledgeville; his mother, Lucy Mae Ford Parker of Fort Valley; brother, David Parker of Savannah; grandchildren of Milledgeville; a number of nieces and nephews and other relatives. Family was at funeral home Thursday, January 1, 2004, from 6 until 8 p.m. Williams Funeral Home and Crematory of Milledgeville in charge of arrangements.
