CRASH KILLS SEVEN FROM VALLEY AREA

Seven persons, including five youngsters from Burbank were killed Friday night when their pickup truck was rammed by a trailer loaded with lumber which had separated from a semi-truck on U.S. Highway 395 in Bishop, the California Highway Patrol said. Harold L. Culler, 60, Patricia L. Baxter, 42, and her five children, John 16, Tina 14, Michelle 12, Patricia 10 and Taunia 7, all of Burbank, were burned to death when the pickup pulling a camper burst into flames after being struck by the trailer. United Press International reported. Francisco G. Flores, 23, of Lake View Terrace, the driver of the semi-truck, was treated for minor injuries and released. UPI reported. He was not cited, pending an investigation into the cause of the crash, the CHP said.
