She is survived by her daughters, Cherryl Lingo and husband, Dean of Flora Vista, NM and Shelley Cooley of Albuquerque; son, Randy Self of Carlsbad, NM and Rick Self and wife, Brieta of Sherman, TX; sisters, Margaret Jackson and husband, Joe, and Connie Bickers and husband, Dennis; five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren
Mrs. Self was born October 26, 1930 in Weston County, WY to Leonard Hays and Marjorie Sutherland. She moved to Albuquerque in 1968 where she was employed at the University of New Mexico and retired in 1993. Mrs. Self enjoyed reading and travel with friends and family. She will be missed by all.
