Arlene Lucretia Marston Charles Obituary as it appeared in the Hagerstown, Md., Daily Mail on January 2, 1973, Woodstock, Va.
Mrs. Arlene Lucretia Charles, of 103 N. Summit Ave., Woodstock, and formerly of Boonsboro, MD, died Saturday evening at the Shenandoah County Memorial Hospital of injuries suffered in an automobile accident in Woodstock on Saturday.
She was born in Woodstock, the daughter of William Frank and Mary Jane Clem Marston. She was the widow of Clarkson M. Charles.
She was a member of St. Johnís United Church of Christ of Clear Spring. She was last employed by Bruce Lightner Law Office of Hagerstown.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mary Sue Beverage of Boonsboro, and Mrs. Patrician Ann Brackeft, of Hagerstown; one son, Clarkson M. Charles, of Hagerstown; two sisters, Mrs Ethel Denison, of Woodstock, and Mrs Agnes Little, of Strasburg; three brothers, Lewis Marston, of Woodstock, Frank Marston, of Edinburg, and Ford Marston, of Stuart, Fla., and three grandchildren.
Services will be held from the Bast Funeral Home in Boonsboro at 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Kenneth D. Cherry officiating.
