Rites Thursday Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p. m. in the St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 464 W. 3700 N., Provo, for Everett Herman Backman, 58, 888 W. 6th S., prominent Provo industrialist and founder and general manager of Backman Foundry and Machine Co. He died Monday morning at his home of a heart ailment. Rev. Ronald Leach will officiate at the services. Friends may call at,the Berg Mortuary Wednesday from 6 to 8 p. m. and Thursday until 1:30 p. m. Interment will be in the Provo City Cemetery.
