Born September 17, 1902 at Richfield, Juniata County, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth Shellenberger Pellman,
She was married to Roy Shirk Forster, who preceded her in death December 18, 1970.
Mrs. Forster attended the Richfield schools.
In addition to being a homemaker and mother, she was employed at the former Shellenberger Shirt Factory, Richfield.
She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Richfield, and was also a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church Women of the church, the American Association of Retired Persons, Richfield Senior Citizens and Richfield Ambulance League.
Mrs. Forster is survived by two children, Alice E. Renn, Sunbury RR1, and R. Alan Forster, Richfield RR1; seven grandchildren; eight great- grandchildren; and one greatgreat-granddaughter.
Mrs. Forster was the last of her immediate family. She was preceded in death by one son, Laurence Ferster; five brothers, Leroy, Walter, Percy, Wilbur "Bushy" and Paul Pellman; and two granddaughters, Sheila Ferster and Sheryl D. Renn.
The funeral service was conducted Wednesday, September 20 at 11:00 am. from St. John Lutheran Church, Richfield, with Rev. Colo V. Leitzel, interim pastor, officiating. Burial was in Richfield Union Cemetery, Richfield. There was no viewing, but the family received friends Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.
