Funeral Services for Reverend Oliver Oniah Lang, 74, will be held two p.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2012 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston with the Reverend Dewey Lang and Chaplin Dan Compton officiating, burial will be in the Blackville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from six until eight p.m. Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at the funeral home. Mr. Lang went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 19, 2012.
Born in North Charleston, S.C. he was a son of the late Joe Sim Lang and Bessie Dangerfield Lang. He formerly worked at the Savannah River Plant and was a retired Church of God Minister. Mr. Lang was married to the late Dalice Collins Lang and was a member of the Blackville Church of God.
Survivors include daughter, Gail L. (Michael) Johnson of Williston; sons, Oliver J. (Kathy) Lang of Gray Court, Philip A. (Delynn) Lang of Belton; grandchildren, James Lang, Joshua Lang, Rebecca L. Gonzales, Bryson Johnson, Joseph Johnson, Christopher Lang, Leanna Lang and seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Croft, Ruby Jean Crocker, Patsy Cheverie, Rita Gartman; brothers, Dewey Lang, Richard Lang and Bobby Lang
