Martin W. Wulff, age 91, of Mondovi, died on Friday, April 21, 2000, at the American Lutheran Home in Mondovi.
He was born on January 27, 1909, in Mondovi to Joseph and Carrie (Odegard) Wulff. He was a 1927 graduate of Mondovi High School. He married Cora Olson on October 29, 1932, in Mondovi. Martin farmed in the town of Naples, Buffalo County, Wis.
He was a lifelong member of Central Lutheran Church. He served as president of the church, Town of Naples Clerk for 24 years, and on the board of directors of Land O' Lakes Creamery, Mondovi Equity Coop and Community Coop Credit Union. He also served on the school boards of Norden and Naples Schools.
He is survived by five sons, Joseph (Joan) Wulff of Eau Claire, Robert (Carol) Wulff of Durand, Bruce (Barbara) Wulff of Mondovi, Kenneth (Linda) of Mondovi, and Rodger (Judy) Wulff of Durand; 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one sister, Eleonore Eide of Mondovi; and one brother-in-law Raymond (Selena) Olson of Menomonie.
He was preceded in death by his wife, three great grandsons, his parents and one brother, Kenneth Wulff.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2000, at 1:30 p.m. at Central Lutheran Church in Mondovi, with the Reverend James Tallman officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Lutheran Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, or from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Kjentvet & Smith Funeral Home in Mondovi. Friends may also call from noon until the time of services Tuesday at the church.
