Clayton Wulff, 82, died Tuesday, September 4, 1984 at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Clayton was born August 3, 1902 in the Town of Dover, rural Mondovi, to Andrew and Anna Amundson Wulff. When a young boy he moved with his parents to Belfield, North Dakota, where they lived for ten years, returning to Mondovi where he had resided since. Clayton was married to Bella Hill October 30, 1929. They had one daughter, Joan. Clayton and Bella celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1979. Clayton was a carpenter and was employed by Market and Johnson, Eau Claire. He was an active member of Central Lutheran Church and its organizations, at one time serving as trustee. He was a member of the Mondovi City Council for many years. Survivors include his wife Bella, Mondovi; daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Ian Carlson, Granddaughters Michelle and Amy, all of Madison, Wisconsin; sisters; Mrs. Marion Sather, Mrs. Lillian Grady and Mrs. Anna Hart, all of Mondovi; and two brothers, Oliver Wulff, Lacrosse, Wisconsin, and Thomas Wulff, Red Wing, Minnesota; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Services were held September 7, 1984 at Central Lutheran Church in Mondovi, with Pastor Merill Herder officiating. Pallbearers were Alan Wulff, Milo Scheurmann, Daniel Hill, Merlin Mikelson, Robert Wulff and Maurice Eide. Burial was at Riverside Lutheran Cemetery in Mondovi.
