Carolyn A. (Paglia) Eaton, age 73, of Brockton, formerly of Randolph, Methuen and Quincy, died peacefully, Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012 at Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital. She was born in Quincy, raised and educated in Quincy schools and was a graduate of Archbishop Williams High School in Braintree. She had lived in Brockton for several years, previously in Randolph and Methuen. Carolyn was a homemaker. She enjoyed quilting and knitting, as well as trips to Foxwoods. She was devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Beloved wife of the late Arthur B. Eaton. Devoted mother of Diana Butcher and her husband Curt of Midland, MI, Linda Perniola and her husband Domenic of Braintree, Susan Costley and her husband Richard of Braintree, Cheryl Mezzetti and her husband Stephen of Weymouth and the late Stephen B. Eaton. Loving grandmother of thirteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Susan Whittemore of Braintree, Robert Paglia of Whitman and the late Daniel Paglia. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Ave., Quincy, Tuesday, Feb. 14 at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
