William Bacilio Acosta, 72 years old, passed away Tuesday morning, June 29, 1965, at St. Margaret Hospital after an illness of six weeks. William was born in Mexico and had lived in Greater Kansas City for 71 years. He lived with his family at 8920 West 55th Street Terr. Mr. Acosta retired in 1960 after 27 years as a butcher for Wilson & Company. He was a member of St. John the Divine Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society.

He left his wife, Lucy G. Acosta; six daughters, Miss Lorraine Acosta of the home, Mrs. Ramona St. Clair of 4016 Waddell, Mrs. Phyllis Delgado of Wisconsin, Mrs. Delores Juarez of 3608 Genesee, Mrs. Nellie Reed of 5335 North Smalley in Kansas City North and Miss Mary Ayala of 719 South Third in Kansas City, Kan.; two sons, Jesse Acosta of Chicago and Louis Acosta of 5209 Hays in Merriam; a brother, Philip Acosta, of Costa Mesa, Calif.; 37 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
