Funeral services for Teresa Ann Noel, 51, were held March 17 at the Fort Reno Building on the Wyoming State Fairgrounds in Douglas, with Pastor Dan Hickman officiating. Interment was in Douglas Park Cemetery.
Teresa Noel, a resident of Douglas, died March 9, 2009, at her home.
She was born Feb. 18, 1958, in Glendive, Mont., the daughter of Gerald Edward and Rose E. (Gable) Williams. She was reared and educated in Casper, graduating from Natrona County High School in 1976. She worked as a dispatcher for the Casper Police Department and the past 28 years she has worked for UPS as a driver.
She married the love of her life, Joseph Nicholas Noel, on Nov. 3, 1984, in Douglas at the Assembly of God Church.
Teresa loved working hand in hand at her and Joe's farm and ranch, they called The Franch. They built a new home, put up hay, raised livestock and tended to her fainting goats. Haying season meant long summer nights, where she would often make phone calls to friends and family from her tractor seat.
To know Teresa is to know love, kindness, generosity, loyalty, devotion, forgiveness, and humor. She loved and cherished her family and friends, her God and church family, her UPS family and customers, and her community. Her heart knew no limits. Teresa's granddaughter, Emma, was the light of her life. Teresa will be fondly remembered for her love of birthday celebrations, various figurine collections and special handmade gifts. Teresa made birthday celebrations extra special with her inventive ways of singing Happy Birthday.
She died along with her husband, Joe Noel, and son, Chad Heck.
She was preceded in death by brother Darryl Dean Williams; paternal grandparents Gerald and Mary Jane Williams; and maternal grandparents Otto and Bertha Gable.
