Sterling Leroy Arnel, 94, Stover, died Tuesday, Aug. 3, 1982. He was born June 24, 1888, near Eldon to James Logan and Emily E. Wood. Mr. Arnel attended the First Assembly of God in Eldon.
Surviving him are two sisters, Minnie and Myrtle; three grandsons and two granddaughters. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Goldie Snyder, and one son, Roy Arnel.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Griswold Kays Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Resa officiating. Burial will be in Wood Cemetery.
