Virginia Bernice Corder Baxter, 97, passed away on February 5, 2012 in Covington.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Don Russell Baxter.
She is survived by her daughter, Ruth LaVerne Baxter of Memphis; by her much-loved caretaker of 17 years, Ellen McKee of Covington; and by a host of nieces and nephews.
Interment will take place at R.H. Munford Cemetery in Covington.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Covington Church of Christ, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , or the Arthritis Association.
