Akey, Clifford E.
MADISON — Clifford E. Akey, age 70, of 350 West Washington Avenue, died unexpectedly, on Wednesday, March 22, 1989, at his home. He was born on December 7, 1918, at Barnesville, Minnesota, the son of Daniel J. and Mary (Ethler) Akey. He was a retired employee of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Sylvia (Andrew) Kundrat of Monona; a brother, Robert (Evelyn) Akey of Rockton, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 27, 1989, in the SCHROEDER-CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3325 East Washington Avenue, with Father Bernard H. Dletelhoff officiating. Burial will be in St. Norbert's Cemetery at Roxbury. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday.
