- Leslie A. Hinkle, 58, Kempton, died at 4:09 a.m. Tuesday, May 4, 2010, at Howard Regional Health System. Born in Kokomo, she is the daughter of the late Lester E. Bowman and Patty L. (Dillinger), who survives. On March 16, 2003, in Kokomo, she married Glenn R. Hinkle, and he survives.
She was employed as a manager at Hardee's Restaurant. She loved her job and being around the people. She also attended Morning Star Church, where she was a greeter.
Survivors include her husband, Glenn R. Hinkle; her mother, Patty L. Bowman; two stepsons, Glenn R. (Kristi) Hinkle and Kevin (Loraine) Hughes; two stepdaughters, Sherri (Michael) Haskett and Glenda (Steve) Delon; half brother Kip (Sheena) Bowman; 15 step-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Services are 1 p.m. Monday at Ellers Mortuary Main Street Chapel, 725 S. Main St. The Rev. Greg Reed will officiate. Burial will follow in Kempton Cemetery, Kempton. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the mortuary.
