Funeral services for Mr. Willie Joe Gentry, 68, were held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 16, 2004, in Bevil Hill United Methodist Church. Rev. Phil Gerber officiated. Burial followed in Bevil Hill Cemetery.
A native of Mobile, AL and a resident of Macon, MS, Mr. Gentry was a truck driver. He was a member of Wess Chapel Baptist Church. Mr. Gentry died on Monday, June 14, 2004, at his home in Macon. Survivors include his wife, Jeanelle Gentry of Macon, MS; his daughter, Robin Hinton of Guntown, MS; two sons, Joseph Dale Gentry of Clarksdale, TN, and Mark Gentry of Louisville, MS; five step-sons, James Jones and Casey Jones, both of Macon, MS, Frankie Jones and Stephen Jones both of Louisville, MS, and Jackie Jones of Aliceville, AL; nine grandchildren; thirteen step-grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildre
