HIGH POINT — Mrs. Margaret Marshall Joyce, 83, passed away May 10, 2009 at the High Point Regional Hospital following two weeks hospitalization.
Mrs. Joyce was born in Forsyth County, January 27, 1926, a daughter of Buck and Mary Jane Ham Marshall. She was a devoted homemaker, who loved cooking and gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William Pitts (Willie) Joyce, and two sisters, Mozelle Heath and Lucille Cox.
Surviving are three sons, Harry Joyce of the home, Keith Joyce and his wife Lee of Julian, and Tim Joyce and his wife Nancy of Thomasville; a daughter, Pamela Renee Davis and her husband Heath of Wallburg; a sister, Betty Jean Scott and her husband Zeb of Walkertown; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Davis Funerals and Cremations Chapel by the Rev. Keith Parker. Burial will follow in Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 7 until 9 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.
