"White--Wayne E. White, Jr., 13, died Saturday as a result of a motorcycle accident. He lived at 2121 Stanford SE and is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne White, Sr; two sisters, Sharon L. White, Albuquerque, and Peggy White, Fresno, California; three brothers, Victor Lee and George Raymond White, both of Albuquerque, and Rory Gene White, Dallas, Texas, and his grandmother, Mrs. Laura B. White, Wellington, Texas. He was a member of Grand Chapel and attended St. Mary's Junior High School. Arrangements will be announced by Strong-Thorne Mortuary."
Wayne Jr. was killed when the 20-year-old driver of the automobile that struck Wayne Jr.'s motorcycle ran a stop sign. At that time Wayne Jr. was playing his first year of basketball at St. Mary's Junior High School where he was attending. He had so much potential and the negligence of another snuffed out that potential within a matter of seconds. He is so much loved and forever in our hearts.
