CASTLEWOOD – Mary Irene Caudill, 77, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2006, at her home.
She was born in New York, Ky., daughter of the late James Monroe and Martha Inez Easter Fields. She was preceded in death by her husband, Owen Caudill.
She was a member of Rings Chapel Church, Castlewood.
Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Brenda Warner and husband Jerry of Lebanon, Mrs. Diane Jenkins and husband Rick of Jonesville, Va., Mrs. Sharon Burke and husband Martin of Nickelsville, Va., Mrs. Rhonda Gilliam and husband Scott of Wise and Mrs. Jacqueline Hampton and husband Michael of Lebanon; three sons, John Caudill and wife Brenda of Coeburn, Owen Eugene "Turtle" Caudill of Lebanon and Donnie Caudill and wife Debbie of Greenville, N.C.; one sister-in-law, Cassie "Sister" Fields of Rockwood, Mich.; 19 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service for Mary Irene Caudill will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 8, 2006, in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, with the Rev. Myers Vicars officiating. Entombment will follow in the Chapel of Love Mausoleum at Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
The family wishes to give special thanks to Hospice of Lebanon, Dr. Dwight Bailey and Dr. Gary Williams.
