Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Louise Baltimore, age 89, of Manchester will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Manchester Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Wayne Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Friday, January 27 at the funeral home. Mrs. Baltimore passed away Thursday morning at her residence.
Mrs. Baltimore was born in Coffee County, TN, the daughter of the late William John and Emma Ruth McCullough Brown. She was a homemaker who loved quilting, cooking and traveling with her family. In her younger years, she enjoyed playing guitar.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Baltimore was also preceded in death by four brothers, James, Murphy, Tom and Marvin Brown, and six sisters, Pearl Rogers, Jonanna Rogers, Mary Dawn Rogers, Ruby Lee, Mattie Stacy, and Tennie Mae Stacy.
She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Waymon Baltimore of Manchester; one son, Waymon (Holly) Baltimore, Jr. of Tullahoma; one daughter, Glenda (Richard) Blackburn of Manchester; three grandchildren, Tracy (Richie) Arnold of Manchester, Treva (Reuben) Potter of Tuscon, AZ, and Richard (Amanda) Blackburn, Jr. of Manchester; four great grandchildren, Kimberly Belk, Clayton Belk, Richelle Arnold, and Robert Arnold; and two sisters, Zelma Fults of Shelbyville and Betty Jane Bush of Manchester.
