She was born June 23, 1902, in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. She married William "Harry" Alford in 1920. He died in 1957. Mrs. Alford moved from Seattle to Portland in 1958.
Survivors are her daughters, Marion Roseta and Gloria Qvale, both of Portland; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
