She graduated Palmetto High School, Palmetto, Manatee County, Florida USA, Class of 1944. Activities listed in the "Palmetto Leaves, 1944" (the high school's yearbook) are:
“Jr. Play 3; Commercial Club 3, 4; Girls Athletic Association 3, 4; Tiger Scratches Staff 3, 4; Softball 1, 2; Fashion Show 1; English Club 4; Banquet Committee 3; Volleyball 3; Hallowe'en Carnival Committee 4.”
Visitation will be held from 10-11am August 25, 2011, at Kicliter Funeral Home. Services will follow at 11am. Interment at Palmetto Cemetery.
