She was the wife of Nils Olofson Nordqvist (1845-1902).

Together they had the following children: Anna Nordqvist (1875-?) who married Carl Gustav Johnson in Sweden and emigrated to the US with her mother in 1909; Anna Nordqvist (1875-?) who remained in Sweden; and Olga Birgitta Nordqvist (1885-1972) who emigrated to the US in 1903 and married Axel Edwin Rapp (1882-1966).

Emigration:
After her husband's death she emigrated to the United States with her daughter Anna on May 10, 1909. Her daughter Olga had already emigrated in 1903.

Relationship:
Her husband, Nils Olofson Nordqvist (1845-1902), was the fourth cousin, three time removed of Richard Arthur Norton (1958- ). Nils was also the third great-grandson of Anders Örbom I (1675-1740) Captain in the Swedish Army.
