Rudolph Nelson, 91, of Superior, WI, passed away on Friday, Aug. 30, 1996, at St. Mary's Hospital in Superior.
Rudolph was born in East Rock Creek on Dec. 3, 1904 to Edward and Augusta (Ericksdaughter) Nelson.
He served in the U.S. Army in World War II and worked as an independent truck driver in, Rush City, Alaska, Seattle, WA, Greenland and Duluth.
He was a resident of Superior for about 30 years.
Rudolph was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Agnes Johnson, Anna Tonnemaker and, Olga Larson; brothers, Charles, Robert, Roy and Oscar Nelson; special friend, Marie Wilson.
He is survived by his sister, Hulda Bendickson of Centralia, WA; special family friend, Rita Bussa of Duluth; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, 1996 at Calvary Cemetery in Superior.
