Ervin D. Brack, son of David E. and Mollie Brack was born June 3, 1927 near Otis, Kansas. His death occurred on February 21, 1973, at Hoisington Lutheran Hospital at the age of 45 years, 8 months and 18 days.
He was baptized and confirmed while being reared in a Christian home. He was a veteran of World War 2, having served in the U. S. Navy.
On September 2, 1951, he was united in marriage to Ruth Ochs at Otis, Kansas. They made their home in Hoisington and to this union was born a son, Marc and a daughter, Mona.
He was associated with the oil field industry having been employed by Duke drilling company since 1955.
During his spare hours Ervin was involved in community services with his family and youth related to school, Little League and Scouting.
Those who survive in addition to his wife and children include his mother, Mrs. Mollie Brack, Otis; a sister, Mrs. Edward (Helen) Krug, Great Bend; a brother, Clarence, Hoisington. His father preceded him in death on October 10, 1937."
