Oct 19, 1870, in Winterset, Iowa, died Nov 30, 1949 in Winterset, Iowa, wife of Marquis E. Smith; John Norman, b. May 5, 1872, in Winterset, Iowa, died August 9, 1946; Isabel, b. March 8, 1875, in Winterset, Iowa, died July 4, 1926, in Santa Monica, CA, buried in Woodlawn Cemetery; and Eva, b. Dec 13, 1878 in Winterset, Iowa, died Oct 1, 1933, Santa Monica, CA. Sarah Elizabeth and John Norman McLeod, her husband, are buried in Woodlawn Memorial Cemetery, Santa Monica, CA. Family history notes say that Sarah was cremated and her ashes were put next to her husband. John and Sarah's son, John Norman McLeod, is also buried in Woodlawn Memorial Cemetery, Santa Monica, CA.
