Butler, Dorothy J. (nee Dossinger) Thurs., Jan. 18, 2007, baptized into the hope of Christ's resurrection. Beloved wife of the late James J. Butler; dear mother and mother-in-law of Joanne (Tom) Dickson, Kathleen A. (Frank) Keefe, James J. (Janet), John F. (Rose), Joseph E. (Mary), Thomas M. and Jerry Butler; our dear grandmother of 19, great-grandmother of 19, sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend. Dorothy loved dancing and participated in many musical and theatrical events through the City Community Parks Program. After graduation from Soldan High School, she taught dancing arts in the Parks Program. At this time she met her future husband, Jim Butler, who was the Athletic Director of the Parks Program. Dorothy and Jim were blessed with 57 years of marriage. The family wishes to thank all of the doctors, nurses, and caregivers for their loving care and support during her illness. Services: Visitation at the ORTMANN-STIPANOVICH Funeral Home, 12444 Olive Blvd., Creve Coeur, Fri., Jan. 19, 3-8 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be held at Incarnate Word Church, 13416 Olive Blvd, Chesterfield, Sat., Jan 20, 12:00 p.m. Interment Forever Bellerive Cemetery.
