"Jim" was a Native American of the Wintun Tribe. He bravely served our country through WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. He was a Pearl Harbor Survivor, USS West Virginia.

He was the husband of Rosa Martina Slaughter, deceased. Surviving children: George Thomas, III; Beverly Anne; Annabelle Marie Slaughter. "Veteran of war, well done, the warfare is past; the battle is fought, the battle is won, and thou are crowned at last."
