FAYETTEVILLE —Mrs. Edith Breshears, 81, of Sunnyside School Road, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2009 at her home.
The funeral was held 2 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 25, at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman with the Rev. Robert Lewis officiating. Burial followed at LaFayette Memorial Park in Fayetteville.
Mrs. Breshears was born in 1927 in Sampson County to the late Thomas and Janie Bass Boyette. She was a Homemaker.
Mrs. Breshears is survived by: one daughter, Barbara Barfield of Tampa, FL; one
son, W. Floyd Breshears of Fayetteville; one sister, Nadine Lohr of Orange, Virginia; two
brothers, Ernest C. Boyette and John E. Boyette, both of Clinton; six grandchildren,
and 15 great grandchildren.
