Janet Sue "Flo" (Edmonds) Greenhaw Allen, 68, Savannah, Missouri passed from this life on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 in her home. She was born September 16, 1942 in Anderson, Missouri to Leonard and Mona (Roark) Edmonds. Janet was a 1960 graduate of Anderson, Missouri High School. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Anderson, MO. Janet enjoyed crocheting, and had a great love for her dogs. Janet married Wilbur Greenhaw in 1962 and they later divorced. She later married Ed Allen in 1984 and he preceded her in death. Her parents, two infants at birth, and a son, William Lee Greenhaw also preceded her in death. Survivors: her daughter and son-in-law, Lynda and Steve Penland, Savannah; brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Margie Edmonds; a sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Jimmy Evans, all of Anderson; 5 grandchildren, Chad (Angie) Greenhaw, Wesley and Metchelle Greenhaw, Ashley (Jeremy) Smith, and Stephanie Stanton; 7 great grandchildren; her companion of 20 years, Charles King, Fairfax, MO; several nieces and nephews. Celebration of Life: 10:00 AM Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Breit-Hawkins & Gladden Funeral Home, Savannah. Interment will be in Bethel Cemetery, Dekalb, MO.
